Stunning Sushmita Sen steals the show at Lakme Fashion Week Day 3

Stunning and graceful Miss Universe 1994 and bollywood actress Sushmita Sen mesmerized the entire spectators, when she walked the ramp in a 40’s classy cabaret inspired skirt and bustier crafted in black lace and worn with a beaded cape. Sushmita was the showstopper for Koëcsh VIK (Very Important Koëcshies) by Krésha Bajaj at Jabong Stage during LakméFashion Week Summer/Resort 2014.

The collection incorporated vintage elements with a futuristic appeal and was extravagantly displayed on clean and structured silhouettes crafted in rich materials like leather, organza and sheers.

Edgy with an Avant Garde kiss, the line comprised saris, lehengas, pants, gowns, jackets, beaded capes, embellished collars and tops in bold shades of black and white before moving on to timeless ethereal tones of blush pink, fuchsia, gold and purple.

Embellishments in chains, leather, metal fringes, beads, spikes, crosses, crystals, rhinestones, filigree cutwork, fringe work and mesh added to the glam-Goth vibe of this collection.

The designer completed each look by adding heavy accessories for an almost armour-like effect in contrast to the more delicate detailing of the garments.

Fun, fierce and fabulous ‘Koëcsh VIK’ by Kesha Bajaj is a fairy tale come true for every bold and beautiful woman out there in the world.
