Jacqueline Fernandez graced the ramp for Jyotsna Tiwari at AVIBFW

The fifth edition of Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week in association with AZVA at the Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai commenced on Day 1 witnessed a spectacular show by Jyotsna Tiwari’s collection at AVIBFW, where actress Jacqueline Fernandez graced the ramp as the showstopper.

Inspired by the seven colours from the Navratan jewellery collections, Worlddestination.com presented Jyotsna Tiwari’s magnificent collection called “Elohim” that opened the 5th edition of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 on Day One.
The venue was decorated with thousands of white blossoms that bloomed from 12 trees that lined the ramp. Floral arches edged the giant doors on the stage and the mood was set for a glamorous presentation of bridal wear.

Opening the show with a beautiful white tulle gown with a crystal bodice, Jyotsna enchanted the audience with more glittering creations. Embroidered lace over peach tulle created a magical floor kissing creation and lehengas were teamed with corsets sparkling with 3D appliqués. The sari gown-cum-lehenga had a dramatic tulle pallav, while the fuchsia net rouched embellished creation was a dream to behold.

Lace, net and sequins dazzled under the ramp lights for the collection. Sumptuous luxurious fabrics in silks and silk blends, satins and organzas along with shimmering hand woven traditional Indian textiles formed the base of the colourful, vibrant, youthful bridal cocktail and occasion wear line.

The sequinned peplum top and moulded mermaid skirt, black shimmering one-shoulder gown with a net trail and the black lehenga with flouncy red piped flared skirt with lace bustier were sensational. Anarkalis with embroidered panels were worn over layers of tulle in myriad styles.

Surface texturing combined with fine tailoring, along with eclectic embellishments gave a edge to the silhouettes. Florals in 3D clusters were the highlight of many of the creations with touches of sequins, pearls and crystals.

Adding Indo-western lines, Jyotsna offered a perfect mix of the East and West to the contemporary bride searching for scintillating creations.

Bringing in graphic patterns that will delight the Indian buyers, the glorious hues along with gold and ombré touches gave the ensembles an ethereal look.

Ending the show was the gorgeous Bollywood beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez in a superbly designed fuchsia lehenga worn with a gold encrusted choli and embroidered net dupatta.

Catering to couples who opt for destination weddings, Jyotsna Tiwari’s “Elohim” collection was a “must have” on any bridal shopping list.
