hosted the 2nd Edition of Whats So Funny - the fortnightly Stand Up Comedy
night on Thursdays at Smokeys BBQ & Grill.
After the tremendous online response to the 1st Edition - the line up
this time was stand-up comedians Amit Tandon, Jeeveshu and Raghav Mandava at
Smokeys BBQ and Grill. It was a perfect evening where uncensored, rip-roaring
comedy kept guests laughing all throughout. The 3rd Edition is scheduled on the
27th of Feb.
An engineer & MBA by qualification, Amit Tandon is known
as 'The married guy' in the stand-up comedy circuit. After 6 years of his
corporate life, Amit realised that his passion for comedy can be fruitful
profession. Jeeveshu an another comedian whose style takes the form of
observational and rambling whimsical monologue and self-referential pantomime.
Another an amateur comedian, Raghav Mandava is one of the
first and few English medium Stand Up Comedians in the country. Over the years,
Mandava has accumulated a large number of shows under his belt and has become a
fast growing name amongst the event companies, stand-up comedians and of course
the audiences.
The Comedy lovers were seen enjoying the comedy along with
Cocktails and Barbecue specialties. Guests spotted at the event were Reemma
Sen, Manharan Singh & Stuti, Nikhil & Vidushi Mehra, Comedian Rajneesh
Kapoor, Nihal & Neha Hassan, Lalit Logani, Deepak Sharma, Augusto Piccagli
and many more.
