Veteran fashion designer known for his elegance in his
collections Manish Malhotra will be opening the Lakme Fashion Week
Summer/Resort 2014, one of the most prestigious fashion weeks of the country, which
is to begin from March 12.
Bollywood’s fashion has come to enjoy a couture status
because of Manish Malhotra’s magic over the past years. He has surpassed his
contemporaries and emerged as the industry’s go-to-person for celebrities and
fashion icons in India and around the world. His trend-setting creations have
always been cherished by the fashion community and are the perfect way to begin
another stellar season.
Manish is known for designing dresses for various bollywood
celebrities which includes names like superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Sridevi, Kajol,
Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka
Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor and Preity Zinta.
In addition to that, the designer has also designed for many
bollywood movies including Raja Hindustani, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch
Kuch Hota Hai, Dhadkan and Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.
Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) is jointly organized by Lakmé, the

year. Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 will be held from March 12 to March
16 Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai.
