Devine notes in Memory of an aficionado enlightened the Capital

Playing the strings to enlighten the soul in the memory of Ustad Mushtaq Ali Khan, the city was enthralled by the performance of the maestros like Pt. Prateek Chaudhary and Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasiya  at IHC Lodhi road Delhi on 2nd September. The divine rhythm filled the crowd with immense joy, instrumental ensemble played by the students of Pt. Debu Chaudhuri followed by Vocal recital by Pt. Mehndra Toke accompanied with tabla Pt. Anup Ghosh with Harmonium by Shri Vinay Kumar Mishra. An evening  with musical notions to indulge in, to get the soothing notes of Indian classical music.


Pt. Prateek Chaudhuri payed his warm regards through a mystifying performance filled with the charisma of Raag Bihag which made the people spellbound also Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia gave a magnetic performance on Raag Jog and Raag Durga. The motto of this tribute was to keep the classical heritage alive and presenting the genre into a fusion to cultivate the youth towards their own culture. The maestro says , " According to a great saying  "Old is Gold" for any classic piece of music , I want to keep the charm of Indian Classical Music alive to spread the musical notions of our culture in the whole world. "
