Designer
Rinku Sobti is all set to unveil her Spring Summer 2014 collection at the
upcoming edition of the Wills India Fashion Week. Sobti breaks the fashion
monotony with her edgy designs and collection that revolves around the concept
of ‘knotting’.
Sobti’s
collection blends modernity with tradition, seen in her contemporary
silhouettes, which use traditional artisan techniques. Her Spring Summer 2014
collection is all about evening and informal gowns with 3-
Dimensional
embroidered drapes, that have been experimented with hand knitted crochets.
The
collection that comprises of maxis, gowns, jackets, jumpsuits and dresses is
aimed at the city woman. In line with the season’s trends, Sobti’s Spring
Summer collection is dominated by bright colours with some pastel coloured
ensembles thrown in.
“It has been
a delight to transform fabric into knots and eventually translating them into a
luxurious ensemble. Knotting, where fabric runs into each other adds a modern
edge to collection for chic yet sweet summer style. It will definitely appeal
to the city women,” says Rinku Sobti.
This
designer, whose couture pieces have been donned by even international celebs,
is sure to make the runway look like a red-carpet with those chic gowns.
