“Nightlife Convention 2013” in Goa concluded with a Bang!!

‘Mypurplemartini.com’ India’s first and only social networking nightlife and lifestyle portal hosted its first “Nightlife Convention 2013” in Goa at Resort Rio, Arpora. ‘The first of its kind, “Nightlife Convention 2013” was primarily hosted to bring together like minds from various Club/ Restaurant/Bar owners, Hoteliers, DJ’s, Bands, Event Companies, Event Promoters, Artist Management Companies, Liquor Brands and brands who target the Indian Nightlife industry.

The highlight of day one remained the product launch, where they unravelled a cocktail bar, known as PURPLE MARTINI REFUEL STATION in Goa in the Tito’s lane, Baga. The product is based on a unique concept where you carry your own drink. You can take the glass wherever you want while you driving, while you at home anywhere in get it refilled from anywhere that is why the name is Refuel Station. It is an eco-friendly gesture by My Purple Martini as the glass has refuelling factor rather than disposing it off after every drink. The size for the glass is 700 ml.

On day two, besides organizing various seminars and debates during the day the event concluded with a fashion show and the much awaited ‘’Nightlife Awards’’. Among other things a joint venture between Investalist and mypurplemartini.com was announced. An all things under one roof, one stop solution called “the District” were introduced. The awards were followed by a fashion show using two famous designers one from Goa itself and one Delhi based were commenced. Goan Designer Monty Sally gave a vibrant and playful ‘The Solaris Collection’ with lots of party props incorporated in the designs. They were put forth to the public by famous models such as Alesha Yadav, Zara Viegas, Dora Fernandez and Dawn Mortimer- the Showstopper.

Designer Sai -Suman chose a theme keeping the convention in mind - The Angel at Night. A black and white silhouette with golden aesthetics, very western and sexy; a fairytale come true under the dancing stars. Along with the other well renowned models was the showstopper Former Femina Miss Universe 2008 and actress Simran Kaur Mundi. The event was followed by the models Tapsee Pannu, Sameer Kochhar, Kainat Arora, Bruna Abdullah, Andreea Balan (Romanian), Sasha Agha & others.
