52 NIFT designers set to stake their claim at FASHIONOVA 2014

India’s leading fashion Institute National Institute of Fashion and Technology (NIFT) has revealed the list of 52 designers, who will showcase their exclusive collections at the 5th Season of country’s most awaited fashion extravaganza “FASHIONOVA” to be held on May 24 at the Ambedkar Auditorium, LDA Colony, Lucknow.

The final list features the names of all 52 designers (26 fashion designers and 26 accessory designers) along with the theme of their collections and models, who will walk the ramp to showcase their collections.

“We are  really excited and looking forward to the event to showcase our collections in such a spectacular show like FASHIONOVA. We have been watching this show since last 4 years and today really feel privileged and fortunate to become a part of this show”, said the participating Designers who will be showcasing their collection in FASHIONOVA 2014.

To add more popularity and glamour to the show, the event has been sponsored by big corporate names like telecom giant Vodafone along with Coca Cola and U.S.H.A. In addition to that, Fashionova will provide the designers with maximum exposure, as it has partnered with various media houses as media partner, such as Fashion Lingua, Pool Magazine and Abraxas Lifestyle to name a few.

The list of designers revealed by NIFT includes names of the budding designers Aishee Neogy, Akshay Pundir, Amrita Jaswal, Anjali Malik, Mohd. Arif, Jagriti, Deepali Yadav, Harshvardhani, Bharti Chandola, Kopal Tayal, Nivedita Singh, Mahak Khanna, Ankur Srivastava, Monika Vikram, Lakshmi, Pratibha Singh. Priyanka , Raja Mahato, Rimanshu Patel, Saumya Kansal, Seema Kumari, Seema Singh, Sharanya Saripalli, Shivam, Shristi Agrawal and Surbhi Kashyap, who will stake their claim in the coming event to allure the spectators.

FASHIONOVA is an initiative of NIFT, Raebareli to provide a large platform to final year Fashion Design Students and Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories (AD) students and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their creations through Fashion Show and Accessories exhibition and mark their strong presence in the ever dynamic fashion world.
