Noted Indian Designer Rohit Bal in collaboration of US-based
lifestyle brand Zippo, announced to design an exclusive limited edition
windproof lighter for the company, which will be available in the selected retail
stores from the first week of December.
The 52 year old designer, who is famous for experimenting
with his designs on various platforms, announced this in a grand ceremony in
the capital. The limited edition exclusive Zippo Windproof Lighter will be
available only in select ed Rohit Bal stores and Zippo retail outlets.
"I am honoured to be working with Zippo again. I aimed
to provide the Indian market with a unique accessory but one that has mixed
influences from both America and India," Bal said during the occasion.
"I have always believed in the spirit of Zippo and I
thoroughly enjoyed designing a customised Zippo lighter. It is great that so
many people went online to vote and I look forward to seeing the winning
lighter in the shops soon," he further added.

The lighter will be available at a price of Rs.3,999 at
authorized Zippo retail outlets.
