The 5th Solo Exhibition of Artist Banita Agarwal Hamirwasia was
inaugurated by Dr.Bhisma Narain Singh, Former Governor & Central
Minister at AIFACS. Her beautiful paintings of Tanjore Artwork left guests
mesmerized and the gold foiled ganesh
and shree yantras proved to be a perfect Diwali buying.
The characteristics of Banita’s paintings is her unique
style, elegance, rich colours and attention to detail inspired by India’s
classical art forms on one hand and its religious and folk traditions on the
other. She attempts through her paintings, to assimilate and cultivate compositions
that transfer her spiritual thoughts and echo her fascination for the divine
that dwells within.
The inauguration was attended by Artists Leena Bidani,
Bipasha Sengupta, Designers Pawan Sachdeva, Gautam Gupta, Shivani Singh,
Jewellery Designer Shalini Kochhar,
