Abhay Deol, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra walks the ramp at Blackberrys Sharp Nights

It was a star studded night at Blackberrys Sharp Nights event when the latest sensations of bollwood  Abhay Deol, charming Siddharth Malhotra and stellar performer Aditya Roy Kapoor rocked the ramp during the launch of Fall Winter 2013 collection at Blackberrys Sharp Nights – Progressive, at an exclusive, closed door fashion extravaganza on 4th October at Mehboob Studio, Mumbai. Themed as Progressive, the concept celebrated the best of new age cinema.


Moreover, Mixing live beats for the crowd was B.L.O.T who jammed with rock chic Shruti Hassan. They were cheered on by the crowd as the night progressed. Blackberrys has been known for the ‘twist’, ‘for challenging norms’ and walking the unbeaten path. With the brand’s mantra of ‘Go Sharp’, this concept is another novelty from the brand. 

The brand had earlier showed the world a promising glimpse of Blackberrys Sharp Nights progressive. Bare chested men lined up and walked down the Linking Road stretch as they unveiled Blackberrys Sharp Nights campaign visuals at bus stops and finally reached the store to unveil the store façade. The dashing men were then styled in red carpet tuxedos as a cheering crowd looked on. Mr Sunil Goklani, VP – Retail said on the occasion, “from dressed down to dressed up tuxedo look was the idea behind this event and it ties in with the thought of the sharp nights event.” After such traffic stopping preview the brand truly delivered an outstanding show at the Blackberrys Sharp Nights Progressive.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Yogesh Tiwari, VP Marketing- Blackberrys said “Ever since its inception in 2012, we’ve seen three season’s so far and in our fourth season themed Progressive we have got young stars of cinema. We are very humbled by the response we’ve been getting from all quarters and it makes us immensely proud to have turned an idea into one of our most successful properties. Through Blackberrys Sharp Nights we create a platform to celebrate success stories from different genres and it gives us immense pleasure to be celebrating the future stars of Indian Cinema. The fun filled night saw the brand live up to its motto “Go sharp” as models strutted down the ramp in a collection that featured the classic gentleman’s style in an evolved fashion. Bow ties, tweeds, checks, tartans, sharp trousers and colorful chinos all mixed and put together in a style fitting a Blackberrys man.
Abhay Deol, known to deliver clever performances in off-beat cinema and also known for his sartorial sense of style said, “I am extremely glad that I get to be a part of the glorious tribe of Blackberrys men. Apart from the fact that the brand truly delivers great style and fits, it’s commendable that we’re celebrating Progressive cinema. Siddharth Malhotra who made a promising debut with SOTY added, “I have always liked the brand for their smart and sharp formals but to be a part of such an important event is a humbling experience. Blackberrys Sharp Nights (BSN) in the past three seasons has showcased an interesting mix of celebrities like Arjun Rampal, Ayushmann Khurana, Karsh Kale, Anushka Manchanda, Imtiaz Ali, Rohit Shetty, Kunal Kohli and Madhur Bhandarkar and Farhan Akhtar bringing together sharp men from music and cinema.
